The SRC's narrow gauge layout is slowly taking shape. Built in 0/16.5 (a scale of 7mm to the foot, with a track gauge of 16.5mm), track and electrical work is nearly completed and, very shortly, work will commence on the scenery and ballasting.

Work, therefore, is very much in progress,and the photographs below show the state of play at the beginning of June 2008.
