New Haden was originally a layout owned by the SRC, whose members built it over many years. In 2012 it was acquired by members of the Staffordshire Finescale Railway Modelling Group, many of the members of which were also members of the SRC who had been involved with maintaining and running New Haden whilst it was still an SRC layout.
