A Swiss Holiday

In 2017 I was on holiday in Switzerland, staying in the town of Montreux. I was told about the ‘Swiss Steam Park’ not so many miles way. To get to the park necessitated a trolley-bus ride of 10 minutes to Villeneuve followed by a Paddle Steamer for 30 minutes across Lake Geneva. I did not know what to expect except that it was ‘miniature’ engineering on a large scale. I think the photos speak for themselves. ‘Massive’ is an understatement as the plan shows; everything is ‘big’. A ticket lasts for the whole day and all rides are included. If you are ever in the area, you MUST go to see it for yourself – highly recommended.
