Titfield – the Next Chapter 4mm/OO
Almost 50 years have passed since the summer of 53 and the saving of the railway by the people of Titfield . The railway has grown from strength to strength reopening the line past Titfield, allowing trains to run all the way between Mallingford into Godhampton , A journey of some 18 miles. This substantial heritage line has managed to save a good number of locomotives both steam and diesel along with several DMUs and railcars, to bolster its original locomotive the Thunderbolt, you join us on our late summer gala when we bring out many of our not often seen trains along with demonstration freight, both vintage and visiting from the mainline and other heritage railways.
The model is a 2400×600 scenic section depicting Titfield station and yard, with a pair of 8 road sector plates as a fiddle yard allowing a large and varied selection of trains to be run.
