Weston Super Mare Train Shows

This last Sunday, 15th September, was the Weston Super Mare train show. This show is run twice a year in September and January. The show has been running for the past 15 years or so and the proceeds are donated to charity. Over the years, several thousand pounds have been raised for good causes.

The show is held in a local school and this year comprised 28 layouts covering all the main scales and gauges and many prototype interests. There was also trade support for those who wanted to spend money (I was given to understand it was compulsory!).

The next show is scheduled for Sunday 12th January. Well worth a visit and in the process, help a good cause.
