Boomerang Lane 4mm OO
Boomerang Lane was originally George Street Stabling point 2 which I built as my first exhibition layout. This ran my Freightliner stock for the next 5 exhibition shows. Then I decided to sell the layout. I sold it to a Derby member in 2016. I was at the exhibition in 2017, and to cut a long story short I bought the layout back and took it home the next day.
I then removed the back of the layout, made it 3” deeper, and rebuilt the back of the layout putting a new back scene including buildings, new walling fuel tanks, scratch built bridge, and porta cabins. It was then recovered in woodland Scenics. The layout can now be run as Freightliner/DRS/Colas Rail/EWS/Network Rail or even a Scottish Depot. It is operated from the front. All trackwork is code 100, points are controlled by Seep Point Motors and a switch panel. The layout is controlled by Lenz 100 DCC System.
