Meyrick Road 4mm OO
Meyrick Road represents a fictional country junction station on a twin track secondary main line somewhere south of Birmingham. It is set between 1955 and the end of British Rail steam, the transition era. It is intended to display ex LMS and GWR stock in BR liveries, together with the then new diesels!
The layout is to 4mm scale with OO gauge track. It can be controlled by either analogue or digital systems using Gaugemaster or Lenz equipment. The stock is largely RTR and member owned.
This layout is used by SRC for club running nights and is usually permanently set up in the club room. Anyone interested in joining SRC can discuss this with any of the operators today. Should you have purchased any OO locomotives and would like to try them out before leaving the show, operators will be pleased to allow them a trial run!
