September Summary
The main event in September was, of course, the Stafford Exhibition.
It all started at 9am on Thursday 25th and finished well into the evening on Sunday 28th when the last person switched the lights off and locked up.
Having said that, it was well worth the effort that was put in by all the members who helped (a big thanks to you all) as, judging by the feedback, the show was was excellent.
Here are some examples of what people said:
“And can I thank Team Stafford for a great show and a great weekend.”
“Really great show, great to catch up with so many new and familiar faces yesterday. Show is excellent, great quality of layouts and trade and nicely laid out with plenty of room.”
“Thanks to everyone for another inspiring (and wallet-lightening) show. Have been looking forward to it since D.E.M.U. Showcase. Everyone’s hard work is much appreciated, including the Scouts Pack’s.”
“Excellent show as always”
Really great show and I was really pleased we made the effort to go.
“ Everyone who exhibited or was involved in the organisation, it was an excellent show and hopefully will be back to see everything next year.”
“An excellent show and a thoroughly good day out.”
“The Stafford show is usually one of the best of the year – Cracking job everyone involved, I look forward to next year.”
“An excellent show. Well worth the visit. Overall standard was so good I couldn’t really pick the best. Thanks to the organisers and exhibitors for all your efforts”

A big thank you to everybody – layout exhibitors, traders and visitors – along with all the club memebrs who devoted their weekend to the cause.
A great success – here’s to next year!
