SRC September Review
Time to review what happened in September and there can only be one thing – the Stafford Model Railway Exhibition.
The show is over for another year and it’s fair to say that a good time was had by all.
For those involved in the organisation, it all starts at 9 am on the preceding Thursday and finishes with the final closure of the doors at usually anywhere between 7.30 and 8.30 pm on the Sunday.
Here we have the first people on the scene begining the marking out on Thursday.
Once the floor is marked out and the electric cables put in place, the hall is ready to accept the onslaught of layouts, traders, club/socieites and demonstrators on Friday.

Friday evening, as darkness falls, the stands set up and ready for the opening of the show on Saturday morning.
The show is now open!
Sunday evening and the hall is clear. It always amazes me how it takes a whole day to set everything up and a couple of hours for it all to disappear!
A big thanks you to everybody who contributed to make the show a success and the quality event that it is. Now we start all over again with the planning and organisation for next year.
Here are some more pictures from the show.
